The basics are:

Exercise good
Exhaustion bad

  • Keep moving, at least 30 minutes, three times per week.
  • If you’ve been exercising regularly before, don’t try to get stronger or improve your cardiac capacity right now.
  • If you haven’t been fit, start walking briskly for 25-40 minutes every other day.
